NOTE: The 2012 Race has been cancelled due to lack of snow. Please refer to the home page if you have already registered for the 2012 Race.
All International registrations must use online paypal payment processing.
Registration is just three easy steps!
Step One
Fill out the registration form completely – including your mailing address and zip code.
Step Two
- Decide which race you are going to enter
- Pay the entry fee using PayPal or by personal check
- Make check out to Voyageurs Classic Sled Dog Race
- Mail check to: Voyageurs Classic Sled Dog Race, P.O. Box 202, Grand Rapids, MN 55744-0202
PLEASE NOTE – our International teams MUST use PayPal to pay their entry fee. It is optional for American teams.
Step Three
We need information, interesting tidbits, and fascinating stories of you and your dogs so our announcers have something fun to say to the fans at the start of the race. Please help us! Give us some information for your musher bios. For example: What do you do for a living? What are your hobbies? Do you have an interesting collection of preserved Salamanders??? What types of dogs do you run? Lead dog names? Tell us about your kennel. How about a business or sponsor you’d like to promote?
Important Notes
- You are not officially entered until the Race Director receives your entry fee. When your entry fee has been received, your name will appear on the website in the appropriate race.
- Bib numbers are assigned by order of entry.
- Full refunds cheerfully given until December 1, 2011. If you withdraw after December 1st, 2011 and before December 23rd, 2011 we will refund half of your entry fee.
- You may move up or down classes or withdraw until midnight on December 23, 2011. Absolutely NO changes and NO refunds after that date.
- If you move up to a new class, you must pay the balance of the additional entry fee before you are considered entered. If you move down to a new class, we will refund the difference of the entry fee in full.
Important Dates
- September 1, 2011: Registration opens.
- December 1: Last day full refunds are given.
- December 2 – 23: Refunds of fifty percent (50%) of entry fee given.
- December 23: Last day entries are accepted. Last day class adjustments accepted. Entry fees MUST be in the hand of the Race Director by midnight this date.
- December 24: Entries closed. NO refunds – NO changes – NO exceptions!
PayPal information
International team entries MUST be paid for by using PayPal. PayPal is OPTIONAL for American teams (but oh so handy!!!). The Voyageurs Classic is a non-profit race designed for mushers. As such, we must pass on a portion of the cost of having the convenience of on-line payments to you so that the maximum amount of funds goes into the race purse.
